Welcome to the B4i Academy x Mia le Roux Movement

As Miss South Africa, I vowed to amplify the voices of those who, like me, have faced exclusion due to ability, poverty, gender, or location. This vision inspired the Mia le Roux Movement, a platform advocating for South Africa’s four million deaf individuals while raising awareness about all forms of exclusion.
Today, I’m thrilled to announce our groundbreaking partnership with the B4i Academy, a SETA and QCTO accredited training institution, to transform educational opportunities for disabled communities across South Africa.
Empowering Through Education
This partnership will drive change through accredited learnership programmes, offering skills development to individuals with disabilities. Together, we’re building an inclusive society where every person has the opportunity to achieve dignity, independence, and meaningful economic participation.
Our first pilot programme launched in October last year, successfully providing 120 learnerships. Now, we’re proud to open our first public learnership application campaign, officially kicking off on 1 February 2025.

Applications Now Open!
All successful learners will gain an NQF Level 2-5 accredited qualification upon completion, opening doors to careers in industries such as Business Administration, Sales, and more.
