Johannesburg, South Africa – on 1st October 2025, the Miss South Africa Organisation confirmed that the newly crowned Miss South Africa 2025 will dedicate her reign to building meaningful impact at home and across the continent, with a strong focus on youth and women empowerment advocacy.
While the 74th Miss Universe pageant is set to take place in Thailand on 21 November 2025, the Organisation has chosen to prioritise giving the new queen the necessary time and platform to champion her causes locally and continentally, rather than fast-tracking her into an international competition so soon after her crowning
This decision reflects the Organisation’s commitment to a new era of purpose-led reigns, where Miss South Africa is more than a title- it is a platform for leadership, advocacy, and transformative change.
Her mandate will focus on:
- Women Empowerment
- Youth Unemployment
- Entrepreneurship & Skills Development
- Education Access
- Health & Wellness
- Civic Engagement
- Pan-African Collaboration & Cultural Exchange
When Miss South Africa does step onto the international stage, she will do so with full preparation, deep purpose, and a voice that stands for both her country and her continent.
The Miss South Africa Organisation remains steadfast in its mission to empower young women to lead with courage, authenticity, and impact—at home, across Africa, and, on the global stages.
