The 2010 Miss SA Pageant

Thousands of people across South Africa watched as Bokang Montjane was crowned our new Miss South Africa for 2010. Hailing from Limpopo Province, Bokang brings with her charm, sophistication, confidence and beauty; attributes that she radiated for the judges and audience on the night of the event.

The 2010 Miss SA pageant took place on 12 December 2010 at the Sun City Superbowl; a glittering affair that called attention to some of the most beautiful women in South Africa. The paparazzi were out in droves capturing highlights of the glamour, emotion and entertainment, and that was only on the red carpet! A fabulous display of designer clothing was on show, with our new Miss SA filling one of Jenni Button’s finest evening wear designs to perfection.

Choosing Bokang from a selection of 12 beautiful finalists was no easy task for the judges, but their final decision was obviously well received by the audience and Mzanzi Magic (channel 107, DStv) television viewers, who had clearly fallen in love with the gorgeous Bokang. A Public Relations graduate; Bokang was crowned by her stunning predecessor Nicole Flint in a ceremony hosted by Michelle McLean (Miss Universe 1992) and local rapper, ProVerb.

Sharing the limelight with Bokang were the beautiful princesses, Dhesha Jeram who was crowned first princess, and Bianca Coutinho, second princess and Miss Congeniality. Anja Van Zyl from Pretoria was awarded the title of Miss Veet Legs.
