Miss South Africa: 2010 Finalists

Anja Van Zyl

Anja is from Pretoria and is 22 years old. She is a second year psychology student at University of South Africa. Her hobbies include; reading, writing, cross country running, hiking and travelling around South Africa and Europe. Her future ambition is to obtain a PhD in Psychology before she is 30 years old. Anja loves anything creative and enjoys being a part-time model with Ice Model Management.

Bianca Coutinho

Bianca is 22 and lives in Bedfordview in Johannesburg. She is an events coordinator at Sandton City Shopping Centre and attained a BA Corporate Communication from the University of Johannesburg. Bianca would love to manage her own corporate communications company and continue to support her current charities in the future. Bianca loves the outdoors and her hobbies include; hiking, camping and scuba diving.

Bokang Montjane

Bokang lives in Honeydew Ridge, Johannesburg and is 24 years old. She runs a modeling and confidence school based in Auckland Park. She has a diploma in Public Relations Management and her hobbies include; singing, reading motivational books and going to the movies. Bokang was Miss Teen Limpopo 2004, Miss UJ 2006, Miss Earth 2007, Face of Fashion Eastgate 2010 and Miss Rivonia 2010.  She is the PRO for the ABZ Community Foundation.

Careen Truter

Careen is from Strand in Cape Town and is 19 years old. She is a first year student at the University of Stellenbosch and is studying Human Resource Management. She is a part-time model with Max Models and has a modeling contract with SA Sports Illustrated for their 2010 swimsuit edition. Careen is committed to a healthy lifestyle and likes to keep fit. She also likes dancing and art. Her future goal is to model internationally and to complete her degree. She won Miss Rittelfees 2009, Miss Diaz 2008 and Miss Tropika SA 2008.

Chanel Grantham

Chanel is from Durban, KZN. She is 21 years old and is a final year BSC Property student at the University of Cape Town. Her hobbies include; painting, scuba diving, public speaking and training to be a television presenter. Her business goal is to one day own a ‘green’ property development company. Chanel was Miss Earth South Africa in 2009. She has a modeling contract with 3D Model Agency in Cape Town.

Danicka Riehl

Danicka is from Hillcrest, Pretoria and is 18 years old. She is a first year BSC Biological Sciences student at the University of Pretoria. Her future goal is to complete a MBCHB degree and to do Medical Research. Her hobbies include; horse riding, debating and dancing. Danicka was Miss Diaz 2009 and is a model with Ice Model Management.

Dhesha Jeram

Dhesha is from Constantia, Cape Town and is 23 years old. She has a B.Com degree in Economics and Management and is currently working for Shell SA in Human Resources. Her hobbies include; dancing, gym, art and reading. She strives to be successful in everything she does and values her independence. She was crowned First Princess Miss Kwa Zulu Natal in 2006 and is a part-time model with Fusion Models.

Dorah Mtetwa

Dorah is 24 years old and was born and raised in Soweto. She has a Certificate in Business Management and has a BCOM in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg.  She is currently studying for her post-graduate in accounting. Her future goal is to be a chartered accountant. Dorah was a finalist in the Miss SA Pageant in 2008. She is actively involved in her community and is a member of the Jabulani Flats Youth Committee and sings in her Church choir. Her other hobbies include reading and sport. She is a part-time model with G3.

Kiasha Naidoo

Kiasha is from Kempton Park, Johannesburg and is 22 years old. She is currently completing a B.Com degree in Marketing. Her hobbies include; watching soccer, socialising with friends and reading. Kiasha dreams of seeing the world and would love to leave a legacy behind that she could be proud of .She is a part-time model and has signed with Alushi Management.

Malesotse Makgalemele

Malesotse is 23 years old and comes from Auckland Park, Johannesburg. She is a part-time model with G3 and is a first year BA Geography student at the University of Johannesburg. She would like to further her modeling career and also work in environmental management. Her hobbies include; volleyball, writing, reading and listening to music. She won the Face of Kempton Park in 2009 and Miss Nedbank Gauteng Motor Show, also in 2009.

Natasha Kashimoto

Natasha is 19 years old and comes from Benoni. She is a part-time model with Heads and owns her own business; The Hair Factory which supplies100% authentic hair to salons and production houses. She is also a first year B/Com student at UNISA. Her hobbies include; dancing, singing, socialising, shopping and gardening. She was crowned the Face of Soft ‘n Free Healthy Shine in 2009.

Sandhya Naidoo

Sandhya is from Rondebosch, Cape Town and is 21 years old. She is a final year business science law student at the University of Cape Town. Her future business goal is to be the founder of a pro-bono law clinic. Her hobbies include; reading scrapbooking and fashion design. Sandhya was second princess Miss SA Teen in 2005.
